高尔基说过:“书籍是人类进步的阶梯。”读书要读好书，《鲁滨逊漂流记》就是一本好书。
读完英国作家丹尼尔.笛福的《鲁滨逊漂流记》，我不禁感慨万分，心情久久不能平静。作者用娴熟的叙事技巧，书中生动的故事情节，文字间旖旎的海岛风情以及人物性格，使这本书成了当之无愧的世界名著。
《鲁滨逊漂流记》主要讲了英国青年鲁滨逊带着航海梦，瞒着父母开始了未知迷人的海上生活，但却因一次大风暴，他流落荒岛，其他船员都死了。他凭自己的力量在岛上生活了20多年。刚开始，岛上一无所有，他就先盖了一个住所，然后再从船上搬运资源。后来他发现自己有很多缺少的东西，就自己造。一次，他把一包发霉的麦子随手一扔，后来竟长出了稻谷，他之后造面包，造碗，养畜……他凭自己的勤劳和智慧吃尽了苦头，克服了各种困难。后来他救了一个野人，给他取名叫“星期五”，然后他又救了船长，帮他夺回大船，他靠着执着的信念，不仅好好的活了下来，还回到了阔别近28年的故乡。
一个人身陷绝境还能对生活充满信心，勇敢面对生活，改变生活实在是难能可贵。我认识到，人，不论何时何地，不管遇到多大困难都不能被吓倒，要勇敢面对。

jane eyre, is a poor but aspiring, small in body but huge in soul, obscure but self-respecting girl. after we close the covers of the book, after having a long journey of the spirit, jane eyre, a marvelous figure, has left us so much to recall and to think:
we remember her goodness: for someone who lost arms and blinded in eyes, for someone who despised her for her ordinariness, and even for someone who had hurt her deeply in the past.
we remember her pursuit of justice. it’s like a companion with the goodness. but still, a virtuous person should promote the goodneon one side and must check the badneon the other side.
we remember her self-respect and the clear situation on equality. in her opinion, everyone is the same at the god’s feet. though there are differences in status、in property and also in appearance, but all the human being are equal in personality.
we also remember her striving for life, her toughneand her confidence…
when we think of this girl, what she gave us was not a pretty face or a transcendent temperament that make us admire deeply, but a huge charm of her personality.
her story makes us thinking about life and we learn much from her experience, at least, that is a fresh new recognition of the real beauty.
this is a story about a special and unreserved woman who has been exposed to a hostile environment but continuously and fearlessly struggling for her ideal life. the story can be interpreted as a symbol of the independent spirit.
it seems to me that many readers’ English reading experience starts with jane eyer. i am of no exception. as we refer to the movie “jane eyer”, it is not surprising to find some differences because of its being filmized and retold in a new way, but the spirit of the novel remains----to be an independent person, both physically and mentally.
