这本小名著是著名的马克吐温写的，里面写的是一个聪明，爱耍风头的小男孩汤姆。
他调皮捣蛋大家逃学，离家出走想当海盗，这么的不务正业，但也有英雄的一面：目击凶案揭露恶人，曲折离奇寻宝历险。这一幕，就着实令人惊叹了吧。
在大人们的眼里，汤姆索亚是一个不折不扣的顽皮孩子，他贪玩好动不听话，不爱学习，喜欢出风头爱搞恶作剧，他干出了许多令人发笑的事情。
比如她为了逃学而装牙痛，最后被姨妈拔掉了那磕牙。
