冰塔林
玉龙雪山里分布着欧亚大陆离赤道最近的现代海洋性温冰川和雪海，冰川类型齐全，发育有19条现代冰川，总面积达11.61平方公里，其中白水一号现代冰川是目前最具游览条件的冰川。
白水一号现代冰川长达2.7公里，位于在玉龙雪山里主峰扇子陡的正下方。从山里脚望去，如同一条瀑布悬挂天际，令人震撼不已。冰舌部分的冰塔林，像一把把刀戟直刺苍穹，在阳光的照射下，不白而绿、绿雪万仞，仿佛一块块巨大的翡翠碧玉镶嵌在怪石磷峋之间，此景即为已故的原宝岛故宫博物院副院长李霖灿先生笔下的绿雪奇峰。靠近冰川，只听见有哗啦啦的流水声，那是冰川融化后形成的冰河。前方的扇子陡发出阵阵巨响，那是雪崩时发出的响声，就像在滚雪牛。千万年来，扇子陡始终如一、源源不断的为冰川补给着新雪。变幻莫测的雪山里，不时漫天雪花，令人举步维艰；不时风起云涌，令人略感寒意；不时光芒万丈，恍若隔世，不禁感慨万千。
雪山里索道
