HS Mountain, is located in the south of An hui Province, It is one part of the Chinese Nan ling sierra.
Entire mountain area is approximately 1,200 square kilometers.
HS Mountain was called Yi Mountain before Tang Dynasty.
Can you guess the meaning of Yi? It means “black ”.
Because there are too many black rocks on the mountain.
So the ancient people gave it such name.
Chinese emperor Huangdi came here for gathering herbs and refining elixir.
And he took a bath in the hot spring.
Thus he became a immortal.
Tang Dynasty Emperor LiLongji extremely believed in the legend.
So he renamed the mountain HS .
The meaning is that this mountain is Emperor Huangdi’s mountain.

1920年12月，安徽黄山风景名胜区被列入《世界遗产名录》。黄山雄踞风景秀丽的安徽南部，是我国最著名的山岳风景区之一。山体伟特，玲珑巧石，万姿千态。誉称“天开图画”，以伟、奇、幻、险著称。风景区内重峦叠嶂、争奇献秀，有千米以上高峰77座。三十六大峰，巍峨峻峭；三十六小峰，峥嵘秀丽。“莲花”、“光明顶”、“天都”三大主峰，均海拔1800米以上，鼎足而三，高耸云外，称为“三天子都”。黄山美在奇松、怪石、云海、温泉“四绝”。这里春、夏、秋、冬四季景色各异，无愧“人间仙境”之美誉。山中林木茂密，古树繁多，森林覆盖率达86.6％，有植物近1500种，动物500多种。
黄山以奇松、巧石、云海、温泉“四绝”名冠天下，遍布峰壑的黄山松尤其独领风骚，百龄以上的古松数以万计，著名的有迎客松、送客松、卧龙松等31棵。黄山巧石有名可指的也有120多处，著名的石景有金鸡叫天门、松鼠跳天都、猴子观海等。黄山云海气象万千，黄山温泉，水质清纯，可饮可浴。
现在，大家看到的就是有名的迎客松。你们看，它挺立在玉屏峰东侧、文殊洞之上，破石而生，寿逾八百年，树干中部伸出的两大侧枝恰似一位好客的主人在挥展双臂，欢迎四方宾客。迎客松俊俏多姿，雍容潇洒，被誉为“国宝”。北京人民大会堂安徽厅陈列的巨幅铁画《迎客松》，即据其形象制作。此外，龙爪松，拢龙松，连理松，棋枰松，送客松，倒挂松，盼客松，望泉松，扇子松，等等，亦风格独特，引人驻足。
黄山之峰，座座陡峭挺拔，伟岸险峻。群山之中，奇形怪石密布。被称为黄山“四绝”之一的怪石，以奇取胜，以多著称。已被命名的怪石有120多处。其形态可谓千奇百怪，令人叫绝。似人似物，似鸟似兽，情态各异，形象逼真。其分布可谓遍及峰壑巅坡，或兀立峰顶或戏逗坡缘，或与松结伴，构成一幅幅天然山石画卷。现在，我们看到的是：“猴子观海”，你们看，一石猴独踞峰顶，仿佛极目远望，又似纵身跳跃静观云海起伏，当云海散去时，猴子又可观望太平县的田园风光，因此这一巧石又可称“猴子望太平”。此外还有“飞来石”、“松鼠跳天都”、“望夫石”、“梦笔生花”、“仙人下棋”等，黄山奇石数不胜数。难怪人们都说：黄山归来不看山。
