每部电影都给人以不同的震撼，而今天的这部《楚门的世界》，燃起我探寻人生真谛的热情。“楚门”，"true man"。楚门的世界，就是真实的人的世界。其实我们每个人都是“楚门”，我们每天的生活也都是在别人的观看中进行的，我们在生活中所遇到人，所经历的事儿，是被一个叫“命运”的导演预先设定好的剧情。当我们这些“楚门”相遇之后，发生的那些事就是真真实实的"true man show”。不过与电影里金.凯瑞所饰演的楚门不同，我们的生活是我们自己能够掌握的，也就是说，我们是命运的主人;而电影里楚门的命运是被别人控制的。

This is to miss the point of what is a hilarious and breathtakingly conceived satire which also allows Carrey to edge away from broad comedy. The Truman Show is also oddly moving and has, as you would expect from a Weir film, a pronounced metaphysical slant with Ed Harris playing the show's archly named producer/creator Christof.
