在这个暑假当中，我读了一本好书，它就是世界名著《小王子》。
这是法国的一位飞行员写的哲理童话，书中写到小王子原来住在一个很小的星球，在那个星球上，还有一朵玫瑰花。小王子照顾了玫瑰花，同时也爱上了它，有一次他们吵架了，小王子一气之下离开了星球，在旅途中，遇到了一只小狐狸和飞行员，那只小狐狸喜欢王子，可是王子越来越想他的玫瑰花，于是他决定回去。最后小王子死了，但他的灵魂回去了。
第一次读它，似懂非懂，只是觉得它是一部很伤感的作品。第二次读它，就有了更深刻的感受，小王子的勇敢与执着，小王子对生命和爱的看法，都让我深受感动：
让我首先感动的是小狐狸，它请求小王子驯养它。当小王子照顾和驯养了小狐狸后，一切金色的东西，在小狐狸眼中也有不同的意义，只因为小王子的头发是金色的。当我们爱一个人的时候，和他有关的一切，在我们眼里都有非凡的意义，所以小狐狸的爱让我感动。
还有，小王子对玫瑰花的爱，也让我感动。小王子爱着玫瑰花，玫瑰花也爱小王子。可惜小王子赌气离开了他的星球，也离开了那朵他爱过的玫瑰花。可是，小狐狸的话唤醒了小王子心底对玫瑰花的思念。于是当小王子见到那无数朵娇艳的玫瑰花时，却只想到自己那朵玫瑰花。因为，在他眼中，只有那一朵玫瑰花是独一无二的，只因为那是他爱过的玫瑰花。
失去了才懂得珍惜，遗失了才知道美好。我们都在寻找那“遗失的美好”，但很少有人能意识到，你身边的人正是值得你珍惜的！读了这本书，我最大的感想是，我和我的亲人、朋友、同学、老师会相伴很多年，但将来都有可能会分离，我和他们之间的亲情、友情和爱，会永远让我铭记在心，让我今后旅程不再孤独和忧伤！

Once when I was six years old, I saw a magnificent picture in a book,called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.
In the book it said:" Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."
I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drowing,My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:
I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.
But they answered:"Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?"
My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor,so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

看过这本《小王子》后，我觉得这本书最重要的就是在小王子决定回到自已的星球后，作者对小王子的思念。就像在我们的生活中，有时，大人们很单纯；有时，大人们却是复杂的。例如开篇，作者小时候画了一条蟒蛇吃掉大象后的样子，作者问大人们这幅画是不是令他们感到害怕，大人们却把这幅画看成了一顶普通的帽子，觉得并没有什么特别之处，没有人懂他的画。还有结尾，作者觉得自已遇到了小王子，即使是在人迹罕至的沙漠中，他也会深信，在这个世界上，有一个星球，叫B-612星球；有一个人，叫小王子。其实大人在生活中就是这样，时而认真，时而轻描淡写，时而激情澎湃，时而垂头丧气。
