第一篇:英文读后感

On summer vacation of this year, I studied in novel " old man and sea " of Hemingway , famous writer of U.S.A. ,. I admire the old fishermans will in the novel very much, he lets me understand that a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed .

Man is not made for defeat,a man can be destroyed but he can not be defeated. Gently closing the book "the old man and the sea",I cant help thinking . In real life, encountering difficulty is unavoidable, the most important is to confront and have perseverance so that we can learn from failure.

Nowadays, in the quiet, peaceful and holy West-Tibet, Tibetan antelope has become a symbol. However, their survival history has left an indelible mark on us, along with the selfless, fearless, amiable and respectable Hoh Xil Mountain Patrol Team. We cant forget the mark left by the black age. As the saying goes, "Never forget the past, let us walk into the time full of killing but leaving permanent stain.":

In 1960s, peoples consumption of Tibetan antelopes increased sharply, and the direct consequence was the extinction of Tibetan antelopes-their number dropped sharply from one million to less than 10,000 in just a few years. However, the protection consciousness of the government at that time was extremely weak. When the Tibetan antelope was in danger, the devout Tibetan people formed the Hoh Xil mountain patrol team completely spontaneously. However, it originated from the folk, and they did not compile it. However, they all shared a common belief: our sheep cant be destroyed, and our symbols cant be lost.

第三篇:书虫英文读后感

Have some kind of love, become blind but hypocritical in this abnormal society: Be unbearable Catherine vanity thin and weak, bumptious betraying; Have some kind of regret, be in so cruel society unexpected turn of events’ ferocious but frightful: Be frenzied continuous Heath cliff revenge, apprehensive helpless giving up all hopes.

So-called human nature, so-called truth, good and beauty are borrowing evil ugly in front of appearing like that lowly, like that easy to break to pieces. Like that intense love , sinuous violent regret intertexture, love accommodates oneself to the extreme frenzied, regret accommodates oneself to the extreme demented , regretful to hurt , leave blood with sobbing , remaining endless scab is left ultimately.

But disregarding this world be how force and hold back our pure but fine copy of the first edition human nature, anyway dogleg and confine, how the misleading sum restrains , we essential points is more soberly comparing with others checks self doctrine: Love needs to being apt such that concealing one"s real feelings , Aide are sincere , being apt such that Ling Ran is apt such that being duty-bound and will not turn back firmly, can not love to the anesthesia , love to the life regret , love but to agony. Continue being perplexed among indifferent enmity till destroying others also not destroying yourself , need to make great efforts to shake off the net vanishing into thin air , finish spending every day , conscientious cherishing flat and plain everyone, who loves you and you love.

That distinctive and heavyhearted as well ruthless quality grabs Wuthering-Heights my heart deeply, that the times love tragedy leaves drapery behind, perform but ceaselessly by us, when ability is end? Or, this paradox is to redeem have no way to save forever.

第四篇:英语读后感

Its simple plot relates the misfortunes of the loyal Christian slave, Tom, who, deprived of familial love and affection and destined for the harsh life of plantation slavery, doesn’t rebel or curse God, but philosophically accepts his cruel fate. He could leap overboard Cold River to save the drowning daughter of a wealthy white passenger who gratefully rewards the brave Negro by buying him.

Tom seems destined, now, to live out his life in a pleasant New Orleans mansion, spending his days reading Bible aloud and singing religious hymns with the angelic little Eva. But the child dies of tuberculosis, having first elicited a promise from her father to free the loyal Tom. The father is killed , however, in a brawl before he can fulfill his pledge and his widow is forced to sell Tom, who bees the property of the heartless Simon Legree. He soon learns how really harsh the life of plantation can be, but he remains true to his religious training, elated by his pious acceptance of God’s will. Harassed by the evil Legree ,Tom displays his Christian charity by refusing to flog another slave .Simon Legree may not own Tom’s soul ,but he can do as he chooses with the body, and he orders two of his slaves, Sambo and Quimba, to whip the unresisting Tom, whose only responses to the merciless beating is a plea to stop in order that Legree might save his own soul.

On his deathbed, Tom charitably forgives the harsh Legree. Ironically, he lives long enough to witness the arrival of his former master’s son, e to redeem the family pledge by buying him back and granting his freedom.

The theme of Uncle Tom’s Cabin, for its all apparent simplicity, is representative of much of 19th century American fiction of the good man opposed by evil personified under the circumstance of slavery.

What strikes me is Tom’s loyalty to his religious belief. All of us has our own belief , it plays a most important part in our life, it supports us whenever we are caught in rough conditions ,it helps us get out of the dark to see the sunrise, it teach us how to adapt ourselves to different circumstances.

Life is full of ups and downs; we should hold our belief to fight against them to realize our goals!

第五篇:电影观后感英文

When you assume battle stations for "Pearl Harbor," make sure you sit near the aisle. Youve got three hours to withstand, and only about half of it is war. This is definitely a two-bathroom visit movie.

Its not the length that makes a movie good or bad. Its the pacing. Some three-hour movies, like "Lawrence of Arabia," just glide by. But movies like "Pearl Harbor" drag along because they . . . take . . . their . . . time . . . about . . . everything.

Put it this way: When a Japanese military officer reports that "the task force" is 320 miles north of Pearl Harbor, were one hour and 20 minutes into the movie. By then, youre ready to bomb something yourself.

Perhaps they should have called this "Bore-a, Bore-a, Bore-a."

Incidentally, although this Walt Disney movie is based, inspired and even partially informed by a real event referred to as Pearl Harbor, the movie is actually based on the movies "Top Gun," "Titanic" and "Saving Private Ryan." Dont get confused.

And dont be worried about emotional intensity. Its going to take a special effort on your part (probably informed by firsthand wartime experience in World War II) to actually appreciate the emotional impact of what happened on Dec. 7, 1941. "Pearl Harbor"-the-movie, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay (also the director), doesnt evoke that time so much as turn it into a pre-Fourth of July fireworks show.

The movies emotional impact is not helped by the characters. By the time the Japanese are blowing ships out of the water, we have met (and already become sick of) our blandly delineated sweethearts, flying-crazy pilot Rafe McCawley (Ben Affleck) and intelligent, dedicated nurse Evelyn Johnson (Kate Beckinsale).

We have also observed the lifelong friendship between Rafe and his pal Danny Walker (Josh Hartnett). The movie starts with Rafe and Danny as kids, sitting in a motionless crop duster plane, pretending to shoot enemy planes. Some two hours later, theyll be mounting the American counterattack against the Japanese. "Danny, lets play some chicken with these Jap suckers!" yells Rafe.

In what amounts to a superfluous first hour, Rafe, desperate for military action in pre-Pearl Harbor days, volunteers for the Royal Air Force. Suddenly, hes missing, leaving Evelyn and Danny to pick up the pieces and each other. Why waste time worrying if hell reappear in time for Pearl Harbor as well as a romantic dogfight with Danny? Hes Ben Affleck, the movies top-billed player.

Theres more to this so-so movie, including a completely formulaic subplot starring Cuba Gooding Jr. as a ships cook who boxes and machine-guns his way to r-e-s-p-e-c-t (loosely based on a real person, Doris "Dorie" Miller), and Hans Zimmers relentlessly syrupy score. But lets cut to the chase: those central 40 minutes of blitzkrieg special effects. Isnt that why people will be lining the block? My take: The visuals are well done but not mind-blowingly memorable. It would take a director far more gifted than Bay to outdo James Cameron in "Titanic." Perhaps intimidated by this, Bay gives us many scenes featuring marooned men in the water, and many others stuck inside majestic, sinking hulls. And when the Japanese planes strafe those men, he goes underwater C like Steven Spielberg did in "Saving Private Ryan" C to show the cool, glossy white trajectories the tracer bullets make underwater.

Obviously, imitation will get you everywhere.
