根据素质教育的内涵和语言教学的特点,英语课程标准把我国基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标定位于培养学生的综合语言运用能力方面,同时根据我国英语教学的实际情况,将“三维”课程目标扩展为五个方面,即综合语言运用能力的五个组成部分――――语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略、文化意识是得体运用语言的保证。情感态度是影响学生学习和发展的重要因素,学习策略是提高学习效率发展自主学习的保证。

首先,上课前充分准备。为了在上课前能做好充分的准备,我不但细致地分析学生,充分英语解教材,精心地设计教学过程,选择恰当的教学方法,而且要对学生针对这一教学内容可能出现的情况作出预期。实践经验告诉我们,课堂前的'充分准备是十分重要的。课前准备越充分,教师在课堂上就越能更好的发挥,教学效果也就越好。反之,在教学过程中很容易出现问题而教师却无从下手出现僵局。
