不是单纯知识的积累而是人生态度的体现，所以无数次大大小小的考试不仅是对我们学业成果的阶段检验，而且更是对每个人综合素质的一次挑战，是对我们个人注意力、意志力的一次考验，胆怯柔弱者、怕苦怕累者、投机取巧者肯定是这场挑战中的落伍者。我们不能要求所有考场的竞技者都是优胜者，但我们提倡做一名追求进步超越自我的勇敢者，如果每个人都有超越以前的信心和勇气，那么我们这个集体将是不可战胜的集体是勇往直前的集体。 同学们在新的一年里，让我们信心满怀的站在人生每道起跑线上做一名挑战自我，超越自我的勇敢者吧！ 篇4：迎接世纪的挑战 作为一名普通的教育工作者，我就经历并直面过许许多多的挑战。八年前，我把中文系毕业生常有的那种玫瑰色的文学之梦播种在一所偏远的山区中学，但很快就遇到一个教育思想上的挑战：在教学中，是让学生做主人，还是教师做主人？我不颀领导和老教师的担心，硬是把学习的主动权和管理的自主权统统交给了学生。为此，我不得不向校长立下军令状，并起早贪黑，钻研理论，分析学生，精心设计每一个方案，耐心走访每一个家庭一千多个日日夜夜过去了，我终于迎来了第一道曙光：我的班级和那个名不见经传的学校一起跃居全县的榜首，我在挑战中挺了过来。老乡们奔走相告，纷纷要把孩子送到我的班上。 通过这件事，我明白了一个道理：挑战就是机遇，要想赢得更多的机遇，就不能满足现状，于是，我对工作和事业都进行了大刀阔斧的改革：我向学习习惯发出了挑战，和学生一起提出“习惯成性格，性格定命运”的响亮口号，摸索出一整套培养良好习惯的方法；我向教育科研的传统局面发出了挑战，坚持以科研为先导，推动教学改革，每年发表数十篇文章，有的论文还在全国获一等奖。我所在的学校也被评为教科研先进学校。更多的时候，我是向自身的知识结构发起了挑战：工作之余，我用三年时间完成了中文系本科的函授学习，并成为一名优秀毕业生；我用一年的时间参加吉林演讲培训学院的学习，也成为一名优秀学员；我用四年时间完成了法律本科的自学，实现自己所追求的教育与政治经济的有力沟通；我还广泛涉足新闻传媒、电脑外语等领域我希望自己的目光能够瞄准大文化、大教育的崭新高标！八年来，我几乎没看过一场电影，所有的节假日，几乎都是我读书、学习和写作的黄金时光。我也常常感到深深的愧疚，就是对不起自己含辛茹苦的妻子和嗷嗷待哺的孩子，还有那常常在村头盼儿回家的白发老娘！ 但是，正是无休止的挑战，使我牢牢地抓住了一些机遇。我先后成为市县先进教育工作者、优秀班主任，市教师基本功大赛冠军、省高中语文优质课获得者，以及省级普通话测试员资格和全国律师资格获得者世纪之交。正是我的而立之年，回望身后一串串坚实的脚印，我也深深懂得：处在这个瞬息万变、经济浪潮汹涌澎湃的时代里个人的成就是微不足道的，世间的一切荣耀与成功都是短暂的、只有思想、道德和精神才是永恒持久的，前面还有更多的挑战在等着我 说到这里，或许有人要问：你讲的这些不是自吹自擂吗？不！我只是想通过一名普通得不能再普通的年轻人的经历向外界证明：江苏的职工是开拓进取的职工，是敢于发出挑战并迎接挑战的职工，是永远的挑战者！ 在新世纪到来之际，让我们用全部的赤诚和智慧，去迎接改革路上方方面面的挑战，去迎接新世纪暴风骤雨的挑战，让我们江苏在挑战中去拥抱新世纪的辉煌！ 篇5： 在开始我的演讲之前，我想先请问大家一个问题：在座诸位中有多少曾经参加了托福、gre考试或正在联系出国？我想再接着请问这些同学：你们为什么要申请出国？其实，同样的问题我在北大曾问过许多人，得到的回答虽然各不相同，但却有一个惊人的相似点，就是要寻找个人生活的道路，这就不由使我产生了一个疑问，这也是许久以来一直萦绕在我心头而百思不得其解的一个问题：为什么曾经创造出那样辉煌灿烂文明的中华民族，在近代史上却始终处于落后挨打的地位？为什么在人民翻身做了主人47年后的今天，我们在世界科学技术史上却始终无法占据一个令人信服和位置？如果我们把这一切都归结为封建儒教思想对科学技术的束缚，如果我们把这一切归结为旧的政治体制对知识分子的淡薄，那么我们仍然无法绕过这样一个事实：改革开放十七年了，外部环境宽松多了，我们与世界最先进的科学技术的差距不是在缩小，而是被无情地扩大了。这背后究竟是什么因素在起作用？我们将如何去迎
