Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen; Its my pleasure to share with you my ideas about dreams and reality;when I was in the primary school, I had a dream, I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate. How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be “fulfilled”? Why do we have to surrender to the so-called “reality”? What is the reality actually?
Ladies and gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is barrier keeping us from all possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, “man could not fly” was still regarded as the “reality”. Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macao? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams. People say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. And if, unfortunately, Mr.Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this is the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; Disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality.
Ladies and gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually, ladies and gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of you think hat you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don’t dream anymore? Dear adjudicators, what do you think? C.S.Lewis once said, “You are never too old to dream a new dream. “So for our future, please dream and be unrealistic. Now that I am university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have dream deeply rooted in our future. One day, people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment. One day, from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day , different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be eliminated. One day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day, our dream will defeat the reality!
Thank you very much!

how to get happiness 如何获得快乐 there is no doubt that happiness is the most precious thing in the world. without it, life will be empty and meaningless. if you wish to know how to get happiness, you must pay attention to the following two points. first, health is the secret of happiness (the key to happiness). only a strong man can enjoy the pleasure of life. secondly, happiness consists in contentment. a man who is dissatisfied with his present condition is always in distress.
the value of time 爱惜时光 an english proverb says that time is money. i consider it (this) wrong. why? because we all know that we can earn money be work but can not in any way get back time (in anyway). for this reason, we may (can) say that time is more valuable than money. many people do not know the value of time. it (this) is indeed a great pity. we must bear (keep) in mind that wasting time is equal to wasting your life.
ladies and gentlemen, good morning! i’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. how to say future? maybe it’s a nice wish. lets make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life.
i am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.
five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the emancipation proclamation.
this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice.
it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of bad captivity.
but one hundred years later, the negro still is not free.
one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.
one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity.
one hundred years later, the negro is still languished in the corners of american society and finds himself an exile in his own land.
so we’ve come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.
in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check.
when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir.
this note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the unalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned.
instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds".
but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt.
we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.
so we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.
we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now.
this is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.
now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.
now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice.
now is the time to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.
now is the time to make justice a reality for all of god's children.
it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment.
this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality.
nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning.
those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual.
there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights.
the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.
but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice.
in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds.
let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.
we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline.
we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence.
again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.
the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny.
they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.
we cannot walk alone.
as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.
we cannot turn back.
there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "when will you be satisfied?" we can never be satisfied as long as the negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.
we can never be satisfied, as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities.
we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one.
we can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their selfhood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating "for whites only".
we cannot be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote.
no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.
i am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations.
some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells.
some of you have come from areas where your quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality.
you have been the veterans of creative suffering.
continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive.
go back to mississippi, go back to alabama, go back to south carolina, go back to georgia, go back to louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.
let us not wallow in the valley of despair.
i say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, i still have a dream.
it is a dream deeply rooted in the american dream.
i have a dream that one day this nation will rise up, live up to the true meaning of its creed: “we hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.
i have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
i have a dream that one day even the state of mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
i have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color if their skin but by the content of their character.
i have a dream today.
i have a dream that one day down in alabama with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, one day right down in alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.
i have a dream today.
i have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
this is our hope.
this is the faith that i go back to the south with.
with this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope.
with this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.
with this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.
this will be the day when all of god’s children will be able to sing with new meaning.
my country, ’ tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee i sing:
land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrims’ pride, from every mountainside let freedom ring.
and if america is to be a great nation this must become true.
so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of new hampshire.
let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of new york!
let freedom ring from the heightening alleghenies of pennsylvania! let freedom ring from the snowcapped rockies of colorado! let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of california!
but not only that; let freedom ring from stone mountain of georgia! let freedom ring from lookout mountain of tennessee! let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of mississippi!
from every mountainside, let freedom ring!
when we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of god’s children, black men and white men, jews and gentiles, protestants and catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old negro spiritual, “free at last! free at last! thank god almighty, we are free at last!”
why do i study?
what i’m going to talk about today is my top concern. and what is it? it’s job. we focus lots of time and effort on studying. only want to be undergraduates? no, we strive to bee undergraduates for making a better future, a better life. we all know that since 1990, the number of chinese universities and colleges in enrollment has expanded each year. college graduates face enormous pressure of employment this is why students study so hard and take various certificate examine to expand skills and participate many activities to accumulate the practical experience. when i walked into the library, i can see many students always be there. some of them are preparing for the civil service examination, even some of them prepare for it when them enter university .but why do like that? the graduates are so hard to find a good job with good salary and stable. this caused the phenomenon that many people pete a position. and some students want to bee postgraduates which is able to increase the petitiveness, and take advantage in the future. in such case i think the government should create a good employment environment and opportunities .the higher education should be the time to change the traditional concept. student should liberate their minds and find new ways to make careers.
第 1 页 共 21 页 finally, i want to say with such severe employ situation. the job is my top concern. i will learn more knowledge and skills also gain more experience. i will make various preparations for a bright future. nothing is impossible to a willing heart! that all!
good evening, dear audience :i am happy that i can have such kind of opportunity to stand here to give you a speech. what i am going to talk about today is “my dream to shine”.
we all want to believe that we are capable of great feats ,we can call the potential to reach our fullest dream. “no young man believes he will ever fade”, it was a saying of my old friend , and a fine one . we look round in this world, full of life, and motion, and ceaseless progress, as in setting out on delightful journey, we strain our eager gaze forward . there is a feeling of eternity in youth, just right which makes us amend for everything. about my dream, it can be traced back to my childhood, i just want play more ,when i grew older, i was convinced that i would be a physicist or a psychologist. after ,it’s a pity for me that i could not do anything to approach it .although they have ceased to exist and dispeared ,they lead my growth along the way. dreams nourish our spirit ,they represent possibility even then we are dragged down by reality . dream is the beacon. , without dream, there is no secure direction; without direction, there is no life. so i
第 2 页 共 21 页 believe the important thing in life is to have a great dream, and the determination to attain it. without own dream, we could never have grown up a real man .and in fact, not only for personal, but also for world. now, i have a dream that one day our nation would rise up and live out the true meaning of its pledge of territorial integrity and people's rich and powerful, such as our diaoyu island. and as for personal dream, my ideal future career is to be a urban and regional plannerwho could function as a chief planner and designer of a city. at first, it was my natural teacher of senior high school who brought me great interest in architectures and cities when i was far away from urban planning . and then i met many cities in and out of books by myself .different places and different cultures just made me more interested in cities. i see that there’re many problems caused by urban development and the lack of deliberate planning, such as environmental pollution, slums, urban sprawling etc.cities establish the kind of housing, industrial, and retail facilities which can be built in it. others evaluate the impact of proposed residential or mercial development and suggest ways for munities to respond. and i want to protect open space and agricultural land in the face of increasing demands for new homes and business. the urban planning system should be plete and can run itself and most cities have developed and there’re much experience and many cases to learn. i want to mit.
第 3 页 共 21 页 finally, planners usually can find a decent job and get good paid and i want to have a house, facing the sea with flowers in the future. i will take every effort to acplish my dream .i won’t let it bee a fantasy , it is just my dream .maybe some years later , it will bee true . i grew up in ages and also in thoughts. it was that time i began to know that life is a difficult journey. and it was that time i began to think about my life. i asked myself what a life i want to live, and what a man i want to be. but it was hard to give myself a satisfactory answer. but maybe that is the best answer ,we are growing better in this process. in the journey of life, only our dreams are permanent, and only the spirit of pursuing dreams is permanent. classical is something not fade, but grow more precious with time pass by , so is dream. when i am old, maybe my dreams still shine, hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. i wish everyone can make your dream alive. good luck to everyone! thank you! hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. so my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. how to say future? maybe it’s a nice wish. let us make up our minds, stick to it and surely well enjoy our life. dreamers are not content with merelymediocre , because no one ever dreams of going half way . sonow i will not avoid the tasks of today and charge them to tomorrow . once my
第 4 页 共 21 页 teacher said :” you are not sewing, you are stylist; never forget which you should lay out to people is your thought, not craft.” i will put my personality with my interest and ability into my study, during these process i will bine learning with doing. if i can achieve that, i think that i really grow up. to be honest, being a quiet girl can have the courage to show myself, i think i succeed. i’m not a diamond, not a crystal and nor a star, not something like jewels or planets will be always bright and twinkling as you imagine. but i do believe shining is not a dream far away, because i have seen the success is on its way. life is just like sailing on the sea, there are lots of fierce storms on your way. you should be brave enough to go through with full of confidence. you have to deal with it on your own, not depending on others. life is a long race, where you have to try your best to win the game. even sometimes you spare no effort, success is not easy to get. so just devote yourself to everything in your life. life is where you have to show your honest personality for everybody. it can win for the love and respect as prizes, live in the big big world, love is the eternal theme for human. all the above are the things i always remember in my teaching. independence, bravery devotion and love are the keys i need to shine and win. everybody has his or her own dream, so do i. i keep on chasing my
第 5 页 共 21 页 target and never give up. because i believe this is my time to shine. i do believe.life is a process of growing up, actually i’m standing here is a growth. if a person’s life must constituted by various choices, then i grow up along with these choices. once i hope i can study in a college in future, however that’s passed, as you know i e here, now i wonder what the future holds for (= what will happen to) me. when i e to this school, i told to myself: this my near future, all starts here. following i will learn to bee a man, a integrated man, who has a fine body, can take on important task, has independent thought, an open mind, has the ability to judge right and wrong.

我是小学英语组x号考生,我今天说课的内容是人教版小学英语五年级上册unit 2 my days of the week part a let’s learn。
能够听说读写以下单词:monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday 能够听懂问句:what day is it today? what do we have on mondays?
通过创设情景,让学生在一定的情境背景下进行交流,灵活的学习和掌握知识,激发学习英语的兴趣;
利用图片呈现不同的课程类型,并提问which class do you like?
根据教学内容,我编写了一个chant,并制作成音频呈现,chant的内容是what time is it?what time is it?it’s 9 o’clock, it’s 9 o’clock, it’s time for english class. 接着,我开始编故事,设情境:we will have a new classmate, john. we will show the time schedule to john. how can we help him?
播放我提前录制好的音频,听故事,回答问题:what day is it today?故事的内容是:john:what day is it today? students : it’s monday. john: what do we have on mondays? students : let me see. we have … 顺势提问学生:do we have a math class/chinese class on mondays? 深入提问what do we have on mondays?
小组合作游戏,一名学生写下monday 到 friday 的一个单词,并问 what day is it?其他三人猜,猜对者再回答出题人的问题:what do we have on。。。
我的课程资源开发主要涉及以下三方面: 教材方面我利用了let’s chant,let’s learn录音;
Call in the dream, we gradually GREw up thinking of gradually mature, and have learned more and more, understand more and more.
