大家早上好！我今天国旗下的演讲主题是：继承传统节日弘扬优秀传统文化。再过几天就到农历八月十五，是我国传统的中秋节。因为八月十五恰在秋季的中间，所以称为“中秋节”。
中秋节是个古老的节日，始于唐朝，祭月赏月是这个节日的重要习俗。古代帝王有春天祭日，秋天祭月的社制。到了后来赏月重于祭月，严肃的祭祀变成了轻松的欢娱。每当皓月当空时，家家户户将月饼、石榴、枣子等瓜果供于桌案上，拜月后，全家人围桌而坐，边吃边谈，共赏明月。
中秋节是我国仅次于春节的第二大传统节日，中国人特别讲究亲情，特别珍视团圆。所以中秋节寄托着中国人盼望团圆、追求团圆、享受团圆的美好愿景。每一个民族都有自己的传统节日，代表着自己民族的文化。中国传统文化博大精深、源远流长，每一个传统节日都有着深厚的文化底蕴。例如，春节，最初的意义是人民以美好的祝福表达对春天对未来的希冀。还有端午节对屈原虔诚的纪念和重阳节对先人的祭拜，无不展现了我们中华礼仪之邦的高尚传统。
中华传统文化底蕴深厚，悠久的文明进程留下了丰富的文化遗产。任何时代的文化，都离不开对传统文化的继承，任何形式的文化，都不可能摒弃传统文化而从头开始。传统节日是弘扬中华民族优秀传统文化和传承中华美德的重要载体。中国传统节日从远古走向现代，从民族走向世界。它是弥足珍贵的历史文化遗产，是民族文化的典型象征。在这些传统节日里，最容易唤起人们对亲人、对家庭、对故乡、对祖国的情感，唤起对民族文化的记忆、对民族精神的认同。
老师们、同学们，我们不仅要了解传统节日的形式，更重要的是挖掘和探究传统节日背后所蕴藏的价值。让我们在与家人共度的每一个传统节日里，用心体会中华民族特有的生活与文化，让我们的精神生活更加充实。
