The manager was impressed. “No problem with the other guy snoring, then?”

“How'd you manage that?”

Hello, ladies and gentlemen. It’s great to be here. First of all, thanks for your coming. Tonight, what I am gonna talk about is innovation. Who can tell me what is innovation? We all know that, since 1978, China has been through the greatest changes brought by the reform and opening-up. So what we can see from the reform and opening-up? The power of innovation. That’s why I am here. I am here to show you my Chinese dream. I want to talk about the future and how we're going to win it. If we want to make innovation. My job is to discover or create new drugs for many diseases like cancer. You know that laboratory is the place where miracles happen. Believe it or not. What I do can save millions of people’s lives. For a long time, what challenges me is how to commercialize research. You come up with a great idea, but moving that new discovery from theory to practice or from the lab to the marketplace, that's re ally a big job. That’s what we should focus on.
We need to act with a sense of urgency-to study and work and create as if the fate of the country depends on us-because it does. It depends on us. Thank you!

Dear teachers and students
On a sunny morning, I was doing my homework carefully at home. Suddenly, bingdun and Xuerong, the mascots of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, flew to me and said: go! Well take you to the Winter Olympics! Great! I left my homework and followed them all the way north to Beijing.
When I arrived at the site of the Winter Olympic Games, I was stunned. It was so spectacular! Looking around, the audience was packed. Then bingdun said: lets take part in the ice hockey game. Xue Rongrong and I said happily: OK! Xue Rongrong said: lets go and change our race clothes! I said: OK, come right away.
Our opponent is Chinas old friend Russia. After we knew each other, the game began. A whistle sounded. Bingdundundun served first. He passed the ice hockey to xuerongrong. Suddenly, the Russian team interfered. Fortunately, xuerongrong received it in time and passed the ice hockey to me. I tried again and finally pushed the ice hockey into the goal.
