各位家长好，很高兴能有这样一个机会，能和大家进行面对面的交流。我是五年级的英语任课教师，我姓张。今天我想就五年级的英语教学中存在的一些问题与各位家长共同探讨，为今后的英语学习打好扎实的基础。
首先，我想讲一下班级学生英语学习情况。其实在座的家长对自己子女的情况比我更加清楚。他们都是在同一起跑线上起跑的，但经过几年来的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事。
有位教育家曾说过：只有学校教育而没有家庭教育，或者只有家庭教育而没有学校教育，都不能完成培养人这一及其艰巨而复杂的任务。所以在英语学习上，我们的家长也起到了很重要的作用，下面我给在座的家长提一些辅导孩子学习英语的建议 1)每天检查孩子的回家作业是否完成，保证第二天能按时上交。检查时不要只问一下有没有做，也请你亲自看一看，家长还可以看看单词有没有抄错，题目有没有做错之类的。
(2)有时我会布置学生回去背诵英语单词，并自己默写。这时家长可以在家帮助学生默写，你可以报中文，让他默英文。并签上你的名字(注明默写)，因为有的学生让他默一遍其实也就是抄一遍交差，一点效果也没有。
(3)督促孩子预习、复习。这是一项很必要也很重要的任务。所以，家长的首要任务是及时督促孩子复习当天学习的内容，提前预习下一堂课的学习任务。英语和母语不同，没有学习的氛围和环境，必须“曲不离口”地反复诵读，才会记得牢。
总而言之，家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些，谢谢大家。
经过一个学期的教学，我发现我们五年级的少数家长都是比较认真负责的，对于自己孩子的英语学习都是比较关心的，总而言之，请家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。只要你多投入一点，相信你的孩子会给予你更多的回报!我要讲的就是这些，谢谢大家。
