我讲话的主题是“说文明话，干文明事，做一个有修养的人”。
中国素有“礼仪之邦”的美称，早在春秋时期，孔子就指出：“非礼勿视，非礼勿听，非礼勿言，非礼勿动”，意思是说，不符合道德规范、文明礼仪的言行不能看、不能听、不能说、不能做。学校作为我们接受知识的神圣殿堂，更应该是一个文明和谐的集体。
本学期以来，我们欣喜地看到大部分同学能够严格地遵守纪律、积极地锻炼身体、主动的努力学习，但是仍然有个别同学上学迟到，追逐打闹，上课不认真听讲，打瞌睡、吃零食；课余抄袭作业，完全背离了学生就是要认真学习这一宗旨；极少数学生自命不凡，走路横冲直撞，脏话粗话随口说，打架斗殴，甚至有偷盗行为，完全不是学生行径；在物质享受上相互攀比，在学习做人、学习知识上却不愿吃苦，不愿努力；个别学生图省事不走大路走草坪，乱扔垃圾、随口吐痰，人走不关水、不关电、不关门，在墙上乱写乱画、踩脚印，用脚踢门窗同学们，文明不复杂，不抽象，不遥远，她是一种品质，是一种修养，是一种受人尊敬并被大家广泛推崇的行为。

七彩的童年中我看到了许多感人的故事，但有件事让我刻骨铭心!那天，天还没亮，小区还在梦乡之中，只有路灯在晨雾中闪烁着微弱的亮光。一阵鸣叫打破了寂静，唤来了黎明的曙光。一位清洁女工，像时钟一样准时，不管刮风下雨，清晨5点总会准时来到我们小区打扫卫生。
有一次，我早早地起床了，奉妈妈的命令去倒垃圾。碰巧看见一个小伙子在吃早点，顺手把包装袋扔在地上。那位清洁女工有礼貌地对他说：“先生，请不要随地扔垃圾。”可那小伙子却傲慢地说：“你不是扫垃圾的'?没人扔东西要你有屁用。”说完就大摇大摆地扬长而去。我们这些旁观者，你一言我一语地指责：
“这人好没道德!”
“这人心眼和垃圾一样脏!”
想着那人不良的行为，听着那人满口的脏话我陷入了沉思：如果每个人都像那人一样乱丢垃圾，那么我们的地球将变成什么样子呢?如果每个人都像那人一样满口脏话，那么人世间会和谐吗?不堪设想呀。这时那位清洁女工一声不响地走上前去，捡起垃圾，丢进了垃圾箱。
还有一次，我准备和妈妈一起去银杏湖公园散步，看见一位老奶奶去倒垃圾。老奶奶正在和那位清洁女工说些什么。可能是说她不太好走，走时腰疼。只见那位清洁女工带着微笑对老奶奶说：“大妈，我扶你。”看着眼前的一幕，我感动了。也跑了过去，扶那位老奶奶。这时我又陷入了沉思：如果每个人都像这位清洁女工一样的话，那么我们的世界怎么可能不变成美好的人间呢?
又是一轮红日冉冉升起，大地披上了灿烂的金装。那位清洁女工又准时来到了小区。看，两排笔直的香樟树护着的洁净的小路上，人们在散步、晨练……空气真新鲜哪!
